Hello out there in internet-land! It’s time for a quick update regarding what’s going on with Plauge this coming weekend.

On lucky Friday the 14th the indie club Unhappy Hipsters (run by our very own drS, and some other dudes) is celebrating its 1 year-old birthday. Congrats, dudes! Get your mopey ass down to 931, but tell everyone you’re going at the Facebook-event first. For a sneak preview of the sounds you’ll hear, check out the Spotify-playlist.

The very same Friday will witness DJ Wispy @ Volume in the very boombastic-sounding Tampere Drum & Bass Convention. Be prepared for some amen-break-loops, heavy atmosphere and a buttload of bass. There are 10 DJ’s plus and MC so it’s looking pretty crowded from the start. Also, take a looksy at the Facebook-event.

After you’ve dried your tears and gotten the ringing out of your ears, get your ass back to the 931 for an evening of reverie. The genius producer Jay Dee passed away in 2006, leaving behind many devastated hip hop fans and an incredible body of work. We (yours truly & DJ Dalion) love the man’s music unconditionally and are going to play NOTHING but music by the man himself on Saturday, the 15th of October.
