British new wave had more disco and pop feel in it in early 80′s. The band ABC is one significant part of the new romantics movement. One term used is “new pop”, which is kinda stupid name for a music style.
ABC’s Lexicon Of Love is an album that can be easily found on every flea market for a euro or two. I think I have three copies myself… With “Poison Arrow” and “All Of My Heart”, “Look Of Love” is ABC’s third UK Top 10 hit from Lexicon Of Love. Look Of Love has a great music video too, which is really my all time favourite!

The 12″ included four versions of the song: parts 1,2,3 and 4. One is the standard album version, Part Two is an instrumental version, Part Three is a vocal remix and Part Four is a short acoustic instrumental part of the song, containing strings and horns, as well as occasional harp plucks and xylophone. There’s also a US version, which is included here with part 4.
