From Wednesday 10th of March to Sunday 14th of March our home town is hosting the 40th annual Tampere Film Festival. The festival programme has always included a nice selection of music related stuff, both films and events, and this year is no exception. One of the movie highlights at least for me is a documentary feature titled They Call It Acid which is about the birth of rave culture and the mother of all electronic club music, acid house.

The screening is on Friday in Tullikamari, and on the Klubi side ravers can enjoy a slice of nostalgia at the Shake That Acid III -party where some of the legendary Finnish djs spin acid house classics. The Future Shorts lounge is hosted by us Plauge Boyz. I prepared a small minimixtape of my favourite acid house gems to get your cultural week started!
