October, month for Tampere Jazz Happening! Well, not a big surprise I did jazzish monthly minimix to get weekend started! Last time played some Hungarian progerock, so this time jazz. Starting out with Gabo Szabo, a Hungarian jazz guitarist/composer. This guy is worth of checking out more! Gabo’s album ‘macho’ that has this nice tune called Ziggidy Zag also has many tunes composed by Bob James that follows Gabos track on this minimix. Westchester lady is maybe million times sampled classic. Fine tune! Third one, Freddie Hubbards Povo, about 14minutes long massive tune was selected because wanted to get jazzclub feeling to this mix. Well what would work better than massive tune that is going on and on same melody, still going forward. Love this stuff! Last one was random find from Stockholm. Paid 10SEK for this album (about 1 euro). Gem for this price! Great album with progressive-violin-jazz. Check these artists from spotify for whole albums!
