Some like their disco on Tuesdays but to me every day’s a disco day. I’ve been feeling lately a lot of Nile Rodgers‘ stuff from late 70′s to mid-80′s but not until last Sunday in terrible hangover I came across the Sisters Sledge ’79 album at a flea market at Lahti (big up Dj Pataässä, we had a lot of fun playing at Lahtis!). An Scandinavian re-issue or not, the whole album is simply a pure genious. If you still haven’t, check out the youtube clips of Rodgers at some music expo explaning the making of the title song and how he touring with Chic ended up working with Diana Ross etc.
